Hey Morgan! Three things:
- It would be good to always log in when using this wiki.
- Maybe I would be more tempted to work on this wiki (and less on the closed BV wiki), since this one's public and CC-BY-SA. :)
- Change the name of this wiki :)
- Setup .htaccess so that we don't have to look at /index.php/ in the URL :)

- I just did 3) and 4) :) Guaka 13:57, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
hey, it would be great if you could explain how to actually use this system!!
Or maybe it is not yet possible to use it? If so, then this should be explained on the start page! Something like "progress of development". Or if there is something that I can install, run, start, whatever, make a link ! -- 84.63.113.95 18:54, 9 September 2007 (UTC) (lemon-head)
You can install from here. I've added a note to the Main_Page of the wiki somewhat explaining things. I need to get better at explaining what features I'm working on though, but I have no targeted release date yet. --morgo 15:36, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Spam... reCAPTCHA!
Hi Kasper! It seems like there is someone (ip) spamming arbitrary text in this wiki. Can we do anything against this? --Lemon-head 13:05, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
- I just installed the reCAPTCHA plugin for MediaWiki. That should keep most crap out!
- Morgan, there's a public and private key involved, that we could also use for other stuff at crashatmine.org, e.g. user signup for Crash :) Guaka 14:29, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] OpenID
I'm getting somewhere with the OpenID plugin :) Guaka 19:52, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
- But then I'm stalled at "Warning: fread() [function.fread]: Length parameter must be greater than 0 in /usr/local/src/php-openid-2.0.0-rc2/Auth/OpenID/CryptUtil.php on line 64" Guaka 20:46, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
- When attempting to install the OpenID extension on my wiki, everything seems to work fine until I go to any user page. After checking the error log, it seems I'm getting this error :
malformed header from script. Bad header=X-XRDS-Location:php5.cgi. - I contacted Evan about this but I'm still waiting on an answer. I did find potentially useful information here. Since I was planning to add Crash to my db, I set a prefix for the tables and this article suggests that a patchmight be required (nÃÂÃÂÃÂð6). Problem is it appears to be a little beyond my current skill level to read this patch and I don't want to apply a patch that might actually invite hackers with open arms to my wiki !
- Still, you can check it out and keep me posted.
- Ciao,

- Thanks for keeping the ball rolling! I don't think you have to worry too much about security issues with that patch. But this wiki doesn't use prefixes, so that's not the issue here. Guaka 11:58, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
